A Song From My Heart (FTV) : Final Chapter

FINAL CHAPTER
( TROY’s POV )

♪♫ No matter which day it is
 Everyday... ♪♫

I heard something opened.

♪♫ Every minute you will be a song in my heart…♪♫

I stopped singing. Nagulat ako sa nakita ko.

Si Aleli! Nakatayo siya sa may pintuan! Anong ginagawa niya dito? Paanong… Binuko ba ko nila Richie?

Ngumiti siya. “Hi.”

She started to dance.

It started strumming again. And I started singing, too.

I smiled when I saw her smiled.

♪♫ Even though it won't make us together…♪♫

I love singing. Pati ang paggigitara ko. But I never dared myself to sing in front of people.

♪♫ I am happy that my heart has nothing left to say... ♪♫

He used my voice for our band.

But this girl…

♪♫ And this song is for you, only you…♪♫

She made me sing in front of her without any doubts.

She made me sing the song I wrote for her knowing that she knows that I am the one who was singing it.

♪♫ No matter which day it is…♪♫

And seeing her dancing in front of me.

Seeing her smiling at me.

I am happy…

♪♫ Everyday, every minute you will be a song in my heart…♪♫

That finally I got the courage to say my feelings to her without having any nosebleed.

♪♫ Yeah, yeah… Yeah, yeah…♪♫

The song ended. She was still smiling at me.

Unti-unting nawala ang ngiti ko. Napalunok ako. Bumalik na naman kasi ang kaba ko.

She leaned to me and said, “Ang ganda nung kanta. Nagustuhan ko siya.” And then she left.

Napangiti ako nang malapad. Nang…

“May nakalimutan akong sabihin—Oh, yung ilong mo.”

Napatakip ako sa ilong ko. Shit naman! Akala ko…

Lumapit siya sakin. “Eto o, bulak.”

I looked at her.

She smiled. “Thanks for everything, Troy.”

“Congratulations, Aleli.”

“Congratulations din, Troy.”

She hugged me. I hugged her back.

Graduate na kami ngayon ng college. It’s been almost two years since that day that I almost confessed my feelings to her through my song. We became good close friends after that.

I smiled at her. “A song from my heart.”

She smiled.

“Ikaw, Aleli? Kung may gusto kang sabihin sakin, ano ‘yon?”

“Pusong bato.” natatawang sagot niya.

“Baliw ka talaga.”

“Seriously?” Tumango ako. Kinuha niya ang gitarang hawak ko. Sanay siyang maggitara. I taught her how to. Nagsimula siyang magstrum hanggang sa…

Napangiti na lang ako.

♪♫ I want to let you know that this song is written from what I have for you…♪♫

She was singing my song I wrote for her years ago.

♪♫ It might not be beautiful and great, but I give it to you... Each word might be meaningless, simple and worthless… It might be just another song, but I have written it from my heart…♪♫
