Rain [One-shot]

The rain was pouring. I stared out the window and gave out a sigh. The sound of the raindrops on the roof seemed more like the ticking of the clock. Seconds turned to minutes and minutes turned to hours. The sight of her mere shadow sent a sunlight through my nerves.
