1st Spell

Hindi na ako magpapaliguyligoy pa. Magpapakilala na ako kaagad sa inyo. I am Jadeitte Louise Rivera. 18 years old and a Fine Arts Student dito sa London Bridge University. I am rich, famous and a bully. Ako ang leader ng Mean Girls International—the meanest group in the campus. Why international? That’s because we bully anyone na kahit ano pa ang nationality mo kung weak ka then welcome to the LOSERS CLUB. In addition to that our members are from different races.

We are five in the group. The evil twin: Leanna and Sandra. They are half-Brazilian and they dance Samba perfectly. Then the Chinese girl Chunli, no she’s not from the Street Fighter but yes she is good in martial arts. No one can beat her except me of course. Next is Sassa. She’s a black-American but don’t underestimate her. You will envy her skin. She’s the prettiest black-American you’ll ever meet. Lastly, no other than but me. I am half-korean half-filipino. I am good at everything, from studies, flirting, martial arts, bullying etc.

What is beauty? Beauty is everytime I look in the mirror.  Yes, I am beautiful and that is not a lie. Too beautiful that everyone calls me a WITCH. I don’t care because I am proud of it.

Too much for that, I am here in the school hallway walking confidently. Lahat ng mga tao sa paligid ko tahimik lang habang sinusundan ako ng tingin. I can’t blame them. I am a goddess incarnated to human flesh.

Katatapos lang ng last subject ko for today. Usually I hang around with MGI but this day is special. Uuwi ako ng maaga sa bahay dahil ngayon babasahin ang last and will testament ng lola ko. She’s my only family. Sadly, she died last month. Don’t be sorry for me. I am a tough girl and any moment from no I’ll be one of the youngest billionaire in the world. Yeah, my grandmother is a billionaire. She’s a wicked businesswoman in her own way.

At dahil ako lang naman ang nag-iisa niyang apo. Ako ang magmamana ng mga kayamanan niya. That’s why I love my grandma more. She spoils me a lot. Tsk. Namiss ko tuloy siya.

Nasa ganoon akong pag-iisip nang biglang may malamig na bagay ang bumasa sa suot kong Neiman Marcus dress.

“P-Pasensiya na po kayo Miss..hindi ko sinasadya.”

Isang mukhang lampa at stupid na lalaki ang tila hiyang-hiya at nakayuko. May hawak siyang cup na may tatak na Sago ni Eman.

Naningkit ang mga mata ko. I heard whispers from the other student.

“He’s a transferee right?”

“Duh! He’s dead!”

“He startle the witch!” (bwahahaa…line sa left for dead na laro)

“P-Pasensya ka na talaga miss. Sorry. Sorry. I’ll do anything para makabawi.”

“Kneel.”

“Huh?”

“I said you kneel down and don’t move.”

“G-Ganito ba?”

Sumunod naman ang tanga. Stupid. Nilinga ko ang lahat.

“Hey, can I have a water?”

May nagbigay naman sa akin ang isang bottled water. I took it and faced the stupid guy once again.

“B-Bakit mo ba ako pinalu----"

“Whoa!”

Napa-Whoa ang lahat  noong binuhos ko ang bottled water sa lalaki. Kinuha ko din ang hawak niyang sago.

“Don’t you try to mess up with me stupid! Don’t forget this face and…” binuhos ko ang natitirang laman ng sago sa ulo niya. “WELCOME SA LONDON BRIDGE UNIVERSITY.”

I left him after. Tss.. Nakakainis. Kailangan ko pa tuloy magpunta sa restroom.

Pagpasok ko ng restroom walang tao--yata? Pinagmasdan ko ko ang sarili ko sa salamin. I smiled. Still pretty but I stink. Argg!

I wiped it with my hanky and spray it with my Dolce and Gabbana perfume.

"Hhmmmm..better.." ^__^

"Oh gosh!!! Honeeeeeeeyyyyyyy....... Give it to meeeee"

What the heck?!!!  Ano iyon?

I tried to listen carefully. May naririnig akong ungol mula sa huling cubicle.

“Aaaahhhhh! You’re sooo goooood…I love iiiittt…”

Eeew! Parang alam ko na kung ano iyon. May gumagawa ng kahalayan sa C.R pa kung saan nandito ako. Kung inaakala niyo aalis akong nandidiri puwes nagkakamali kayo. I get my cellphone and texted someone. I walk towards the cubicle after. Nakaawang lang ang pinto niyon. Psh. The perks didn’t even bother to close it.

“School rule no. 7 according to our student handbook means the school doesn’t tolerate any malicious activities inside the campus and according to my own rule making out in my front when I am pissed is a serious sin!” I blurted out. Haha! >:D Nagulantang ko tuloy ang dalawa.

The  expression of the girl is priceless. Hindi niya kasi malaman kung ano ang tatakpan. She’s half naked. I mean, bra at panty nalang ang natitirang suot niya. Feel niya siguro nasa hotel siya. I know this girl. Siya ang 1st runner-up ko sa Ms. London Bridge University 20XX last year. Her name is Erich at ang kasama naman niyang lalaki ay….well hindi ko pa makita ang mukha. Nakatalikod kasi siya sa gawi ko. Ew sa dalawang ‘to. Making out in the C.R is so cheap.

“W-What the hell are you doing here?”

“What am I doing here? This is a C.R duh! You two get a room but…” I smiled wickedly. “It seems it’s too late for that.”

Nilingon ko ang mga papasok na school disciplinary staff. Ganoon kalaki ang impluwensiya ko. Isang text ko lang takbo sila agad. They believe it of course. I maybe a BIATCH but I am not a liar.

“Please sumama kayo sa amin sa guidance office,” said Ms. Guidance councilor. She’s a spinster and she’s wearing pink right now. Yuck! Hindi bagay.

“My gosh! This is---embarrassing!”

“Guidance huh?” sa wakas nagsalita narin ang lalaking kasama ni Erich. Humarap na siya sa gawi ko with a mocking smile. Nakabukas an gang butones ng polo niya pero may inner shirt naman siya so sa kanilang dalawa iyong babae ang nakakahiya ang ayos. “So this is one of your dirty schemes Ms. Rivera.”

He knows me? Oh yeah. Hindi na kataka-taka iyon. I am very famous duh. Kilala ko nga siya eh, the number one heartthrob ng campus. The guy who could strip down thousands of panties. Hmmm…Yes ganoon kagwapo ang lalaking nasa harapan ko. He is as well the number one playboy in town that’s why I don’t like him ever since. Kaya naman I am proud na hindi ako kasali sa mga babaeng nagkakandarapa sa kanya. Sabagay never naman akong nagkandarapa sa lalaki. That’s cheap. At never maging exception ang Andrei Sullivan na ito. He is absolutely not my type. Wait. Why am I talking about him? Hindi ko naman siya gusto. Yuck.

“Whatever.” I said. I don’t know kung sino ang sinabihan ko non. Si Andrei ba o ang sarili ko. I don’t care. I just wanted to go home badly. Makaalis na nga lang.

“Hey.”

Nilingon ko siya. He just gave me a lazy smile and wink. I smirk and give him thumbs down. Kinindatan pa ako. Kadiri ha. I think I’m going to vomit.

That’s right nasa bahay na ako and currently listening to the attorney as he read the last and will testament of my grandma. It’s so boring. I am so sleepy na nga eh.

Napakurap ako. Ano daw? Anong twenty? Anong off-limits? Did I hear it right?

“She’s going to manage the Black Moon for the meantime and shouldn’t close it. If she fails to do so the said obligation then her inheritance will be donated to the ff. charity institutions…blah..blah..”

OMG! THIS IS A NIGHTMARE! What’s going on here? 18 palang ako so that means wala pa akong mamanahin ni sincong duling?

“Attorney , is this some sort of a joke?” malapit na akong mag-hysterical.

“I am afraid it is true hija and my client is at the right state of mind when she makes this.”

“B-But how about me?” naiiyak na talaga ako.

Walang allowance! Papano ako mabubuhay? Papano ko babayaran ang mga maids?

“Don’t worry may automatic funds ang mga maids at katiwala niyo hija as long nagtatrabaho parin sila dito.” Wow.  Nababasa ng attorney ang isip ko.

“Tito papano ako mabubuhay?” nagpapanic na ako.

Ibebenta ko nalang siguro ang mga bags at shoes ko. Collection ko pa naman ang mga iyon. Kaso one year akong magtitiis?

“Don’t worry hija. May natitira ka pa namang Black Pearl.”

Natigilan ako. Oo nga pala. Pero ano bang shop iyon?

“What kind of shop tito? Is it a boutique? A jewelry shop or something cool?” somehow excited din ako.

“Ahh err...teka papano ko ba to e-explain hija. That shop kasi is not really what you think.”

Huh?

“It’s a weird shop. Hindi nga ako makapaniwalang may ganoong shop si Francesca. It’s actually a…”

“A what?”

“A VOODOO shop.”

I think I’m going to faint. Joke ba ito? Dapat naging komedyante nalang si lola. How am I supposed to live with the help of that voodoo shop?!!

I mean hello? How am I supposed to handle this?
